Meet the Office Crew!


Cynthia Phillips-Sabla is the Director for the ISU Community School of the Arts. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Art at Saint Mary of the Woods College. She also works as an artist and graphic designer, where she collaborated to complete published works for the Nature Walks field guide series, as well as other professional works.

Cynthia received her Bachelor of Art from Saint Mary of the Woods College, and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree at Indiana State University.

She is an art educator and an individual that is immersed in local arts, education, and service within the community. Cynthia is active as a board member in numerous community organizations including Art Spaces, Happiness Bag, Inc., Terre Haute Children’s Choir, the Swope Education Committee, and also the Swope Art Hoppers.

Crystal Myers is the Community School of the Arts’ Administrative Assistant. Myers is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development at Indiana State University. She is instrumental in conceiving, developing and implementing arts events at ISU including Family Fun Day, Homecoming, and Special Olympics Indiana. Myers was recently selected to serve on the Indiana State University’s Performing Arts Series Committee and Terre Haute Children’s Choir Board of Directors as Secretary.




Megan Jenkins is the Office Assistant for Community School of the Arts. She is a Psychology major, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She has received the Outstanding Psychology Award within the Department of Psychology for the 2016-2017 academic year. After she completes her undergraduate studies at Indiana State University, she plans to pursue her doctorate degree in either counseling psychology or clinical psychology.
